Building a trusted platform for supporting eye healthcare,
advancing discovery and reducing preventable blindness

Eye to the Future uses a suite of sophisticated analytics tools to identify areas of change that are vital for tracking progressive eye conditions like Glaucoma - enabling disease to be diagnosed

What we do

Eye to the Future is committed to providing innovative clinical decision support tools to empower, not replace, eye healthcare professionals.
Our platform helps to shape a brighter future for eye healthcare and minimise preventable vision loss.

Using images from existing equipment

Eye to the Future’s software uses existing fundus camera images taken over multiple routine eye examinations.

Quickly spot early signs of eye disease

Our novel image navigation interface helps our users to spot early signs of disease more quickly and more confidently.

Glaucoma focus

We have developed features to specifically support the assessment for early signs of glaucoma and glaucoma progression.

Our journey

Since we started on this journey we have listened intensely to optometrists and ophthalmologists throughout the world and have been developing a robust clinical decision support software platform to help the delivery of timely diagnoses and intervention for the health and specifically Glaucoma, the number one cause of irreversible blindness.

Our journey started over 20 years ago with our background technology coming from the Universities of Edinburgh and Dundee in Scotland, UK.

With support from the Universities, Scottish Enterprise, countless eye care professionals, Creative Destruction Lab in Wisconsin, Scottish Edge, Innovate UK and other fantastic supporters, we have built a product that will deliver on our vision of a world with reduced unnecessary blindness.

We have a fantastic team and will continue to work on solutions to fit with existing clinical workflows for the betterment of eye health globally.

Vital to the delivery of better eye care especially for Glaucoma is the need to identify changes over time, which we do uniquely.
